An exhibition celebrating 25 years of DACS
Drawing upon cultural, political and Orwellian themes, exhibiting artists present their own visual interpretation of 1984, referencing subjects as diverse as Big Brother, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Demi-Wave perms and the Miner's Strike.
Exhibiting artists include Tracey Emin, Peter Blake, Holly Johnson, David Nash, Tom Phillips, Nick Walker, Paul Slattery, Diana Armfield RA, Roger Bamber, Harvey Daniels, Jovan Djordjevic, David Hamilton, Marcelle Hanselaar, Nobu Hase, Martin Leman RBA, Philip Smith MBE ARCA, Nick Walker, Bill Tidy and many more (download the Press Release for a full list of exhibtors).

This exhibition is dedicated to Simon Stern 1943-2009. An accomplished illustrator, Simon worked in almost every branch of the profession from children’s books to advertising. He also served on the Board of Directors at DACS from 1992-2008.
